Corentyne beer garden owner injured in attack by customers

A Corentyne businessman is now nursing injuries to his head and hand after he was attacked by three customers on Tuesday evening after he informed that he would be closing his shop earlier than usual.

Mohamed Razeck, 43, of Lot 343 Number 77 Village, Corentyne, operates a grocery store and beer garden at the location which also houses a Superbet location. He said he would usually close his shop around 9 pm, however, on Tuesday he decided to close up around 8.30 pm.

“I went out and I drink some beers so when I come home I tell my wife let we close up early and when I tell them them annoyed with me and them start cuss up me and me argue back with them.”
