Over 2,000 persons living in the riverain communities in the Upper and Lower Pomeroon River, in Region Two, are expected to have better access to quality dental services with the redeployment of the rehabilitated ‘Lady Janet’ dental boat.
The boat, named after the late former President Janet Jagan, was refurbished at a cost of $2.8 million.
The services to be offered will include fillings, cleanings, extractions and oral health education.
