Youth awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to killing Barima farmer

A now 22-year-old man who back in 2016 had been charged as a juvenile for the murder of Barima farmer Junior Moses is now awaiting sentence after pleading to the lesser offence of manslaughter.

In accordance with the Juvenile Offenders Act, the man’s identity has to be withheld from publication since he was charged as a juvenile.

The young man had been originally indicted for murder.
