A Tucville man died on Wednesday night after he struck by a car while riding along Mandela Avenue, in Georgetown.
Dead is Lyndon Austin, 57, of Go Slow Drive, Tucville, Georgetown.
According to a Guyana Police Force (GPF) press release, the accident occurred around 10:30 pm as Austin was proceeding north along the western side of the western carriageway on his cycle on Mandela Avenue, and the driver of the car, identified as Asif Mohammed, 32, was proceeding north allong the centre of the western carriageway of the road.
