Former cane cutter Warren Dennis, who back in 2017 chopped a woman and severed her left wrist, is now awaiting sentencing after admitting that he attempted to murder her.
At his arraignment on Thursday, the 48-year-old man pleaded guilty to chopping the mother of three with a cutlass about her body on April 23, 2017, at Beterverwagting (BV), East Coast Demerara.
Prosecutor Cicelia Corbin told the court that following a disagreement, the cutlass-wielding Dennis attacked and chopped the woman to her face, shoulders and left hand, severing her wrist.
