A solid batting performance by Dominique Rikki followed up by exceptional bowling from Trinson Carmichael and Damion Jacobs ensured American Cricket Society (ACS) an 84-run win over Canal No. 2 in the opening match of their tour of Guyana.

Winning the toss and deciding to bat at La Bonne Intention Ground, East Coast Demerara yesterday, ACS posted 165 in 30 overs before scuttling the West Demerara side for 81 in 21.3 overs.

Rikhi, a former Guyana youth player who hails from Berbice and has represented the United States of America in two One Day Internationals, top scored with 48 from 43 balls. He stroked four boundaries including a six before he was stumped by Tejnauth Jadnauth off of Nityanand Mathura.
