The Guyana Defence Force on Tuesday evening hosted a traditional “Dining out” dinner for four of its recently retired Officers.
The former Officers honoured were Colonel (Ret’d) Jawahar Persaud (second from right), Lieutenant Colonel (Ret’d) Dwain Jervis (second from left) and Majors (Ret’d) Roderick Leitch (right) and Bhageshwar Murli (left).
The event was held at the Officers’ Mess, Base Camp Ayanganna, a release from the GDF said.
Chief of Staff Brigadier Godfrey Bess (centre), Colonel General Staff, Colonel Julius Skeete, Director National Intelligence and Security Agency, Colonel Omar Khan and Other Senior Officers were also present, the release added.
