Everest in driver’s seat after Looknauth’s 58 against GCC

The Georgetown Cricket Association’s Noble House Seafood second-division two-day semi-finals got underway yesterday with Everest in control against Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) and Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) leading Malteenoes Sports Club by six runs.

At GCC, the hosts won the toss and inserted Everest who managed 207 all out in 66.5 overs before GCC closed the day on 34 for three with Javed Rasheed (2-4) removing promising youngsters, Mavindra Dindayal and Zachary Jodah.
