Popular sports store, Star Sports Trophies and Awards of 28 Logwood, Enmore, East Coast, Demerara recently donated more cricket gear towards the “cricket gear for young and promising cricketers in Guyana” project.
At a simple handing over ceremony, former senior national wicketkeeper\batsman and owner of Star Sports, Sheikh Mohamed, handed over a number of bats, batting gloves, junior cricket balls, wickets, cricket bags, keeping pads and gloves, cricket shoes and clothing with a value of approximately $600,000.
This follows an earlier donation of gear towards the project. The sports store is the agent for authentic major cricket brands around the world and provides the highest quality of gear and other sports equipment.
