An Ulverston, Corentyne fisherman is feared dead after he reportedly fell overboard while fishing in the Corentyne River on Monday evening.
The captain and three fishermen who were on the boat have since been placed into police custody for questioning.
Kallicharran Mohabir, 52, a father of one, of Lot 14 Ulverston Village left home on Monday to head out to fish in the Corentyne River. According to relatives, he had told them that they were going to fish in the vicinity of Rose Hall Town, Corentyne “in the deep water.”
