Accused in theft of motorbike, cellphones remanded

A Garnett Street man, who has pending larceny charges before the court, was on Wednesday remanded to prison after being accused of new crimes, including stealing a motorcycle and cell phones.

Jevon Hubbard was taken before Magistrate Leron Daly in Georgetown, where he was faced with four counts of break and enter and larceny.

Three of the charges stated that between April 2 and April 3, 2022, at Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Shawn Greene and stole a motorcycle, valued at $265,000, a 65’’ television set, valued at $200,000, an iPhone 6, worth $35,000, and an iPhone 13 ProMax, worth $300,000.
