National Sports Commission comes through for Jamaica-bound CARIFTA team

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has answered the call of the Athletic Association of Guyana (AAG) and its CARIFTA Games-bound outfit.

Yesterday, President of the AAG, Aubrey Hutson received a cheque for $2 million from Director of Sport, Steve Ninvalle, during a handing over ceremony at the NSC’s Middle Street, Georgetown headquarters.

At the 49th edition of the prestigious Games which will be staged in Jamaica during the Easter Weekend, the 592 will be represented by 13 athletes.
