A 14-year-old girl died on Sunday after the pedal bike she was on was struck by a speeding motorcyclist.
Dead is Makida Quick of Lot 668 Section ‘D’ Field, Sophia and a student of the Tucville Secondary School.
The man who struck the teenager down has been identified as Glenton Redman, 21, of Lot 1584 Section ‘E’ Field, Sophia.
According to police, the accident occurred about 12:30 hrs, at Section ‘E’ Field.
