Young Achievers and Vergenoegen Boxing Gyms were named joint winners of Saturday’s Pepsi/Mike Parris Under-16 competition held at the Andrew Lewis Gym in Albouystown. The runner up gym was Rose Hall Jammers.
Berbice Jammers Boxing gym was previously declared best gym of the twice a month championships organized by the Guyana Boxing Association.
The competition produced the largest turnout since competitive boxing returned, said GBA president Steve Ninvalle in an invited comment.
