GOA donates $2m to CARIFTA Games team

The Guyana contingent arrived at the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica yesterday morning brimming with confidence ahead of the 49th edition of the Regional showpiece back from a two-year absence due to the pandemic.

President of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA), K Juman-Yassin along with head of the Athletic Association of Guyana (AAG), Aubrey Hutson were full of optimism that the CARIFTA Games team will perform at its optimum level during this weekend’s Games in Jamaica.

Juman-Yassin and Hutson made their opinions known during a handing over of a $2M cheque to the AAG by the GOA to help offset expenses for the outfit.
