The post-mortem examination (PME) which was done on 19-year-old Shenese Walks revealed that she died of a stab wound to her neck.
The young woman’s body was identified by her parents and the PME was conducted by Dr Nehaul Singh. The body was then handed over to her family for burial.
Walks was allegedly fatally stabbed on Tuesday by her boyfriend, Joel Spooner, 21, at their Craig, East Bank Demerara (EBD) apartment which they had shared.
