Sixteen year old all-rounder, Ruhan Swar, at the conclusion of the Tri-State tour of Guyana, donated a substantial amount of cricket gear to the Transport Sports Club.
Swar, in a short comment on the sidelines of the two-day match at Demerara Cricket Club Saturday, said he was amazed by the talent of the young Guyanese batsmen after seeing them in Trinidad and Tobago a few years ago.
He said that it was his dream to experience first-hand what it was like to play locally and the quality of players on offer here adding that it was only natural for him to accept the invitation issued by head coach, Linden Fraser.
