Worker among two charged with stealing over $2M from online shopping company

Two men, including a worker, were yesterday charged with stealing over $2.3 million from an online shopping and shipping business.

Helton King, of Friend-ship, East Bank Demerara, and Dion Chan, of Agri-cola, also on the East Bank, were jointly charged at the Georgetown Magis-trates’ Courts.

They were arraigned before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly and denied that on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 100-101 Regent Street, Georgetown, they broke and entered the offices of the eZone online shopping and shipping company and stole a sum of $2,375,740, which was the property of Paul Pantin.
