Abram Zuil man remanded over 2014 fatal accident

Twenty-six-year-old Nicklous Singh of Abram Zuil, Region Two was yesterday remanded to prison on a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

Singh was wanted by the police for over eight years in relation to the death of the then Rich-mond Courts Branch Manager, Chandanie Das.

He was arrested by police during an intelligence-led operation on Friday last. Singh made his appearance before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s Court. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
