Fifteenth annual Arokium Memorial cycling race pedals off Sunday in B/ce

The Flying Ace cycling club-organised Arokium Memorial road race is set to pedal off Sunday when the country’s premier wheelsmen take to the roadways of Berbice.

The 60-mile meet will see the riders pedaling off from 09.00 hours from the high bridge in front of the Arokium residence in New Amsterdam where they will head to the No. 43 bridge and back to Alexander Street, New Amsterdam for the finish.

The female and beginners, however, will start from Nand Persaud at No. 36 village on the Corentyne and head to the finish line for their 25-mile race.
