Monedderlust sealed their berth to the final in the 592 ‘Skills for Cash’ 7-aside Knockout football competition,  defeating fierce rival Rosignol United 2-1 Sunday at the Rosignol Community ground, West Coast Berbice.

The 60-minute affair was witnessed by the largest crowd to date in the event. Despite having the home support, Rosignol fell behind in the 11th minute, as national player Kevin Cottoy broke the deadlock.

The speedy winger completed a tidy midfield buildup by the visitors, as a cross into the penalty area, was slammed into the back of the net from inside the penalty box.
