A 34-year-old aircraft mechanic and a 54-year-old business manager were Monday night robbed by two persons, one of whom was armed with a handgun. A suspect has since been arrested.
The incident which occurred at Hadfield Street, Georgetown, saw the aircraft mechanic being robbed of an iPhone 7 valued $65,000 and a business manager of a Galaxy A2 cellphone valued $42,000.
According to the police report, at 8:50 pm Monday night, the mechanic was visiting his girlfriend’s residence on Hadfield Street and had parked his car outside.
