Seeking to avoid any claim of apparent bias, Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan last Friday recused herself from presiding in the trial of the former Finance Minister Winston Jordan, who is accused of misconduct in public office.
McLennan announced the decision when the matter was called last Friday.
