4R Lions registered successive victories over the weekend while Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) whipped Malteenoes Sports Club by 266 runs as the Georgetown Cricket Association/Ramchand Auto Spares/Survival Group of Compaines/Trophy Stall under-19 50-over tournament continued.
On Sunday, 4R Lions defeated GT XI by 136 runs after posting 243 for nine in 34 overs and containing GT XI to 107 all out in 25.4 overs.
West Indies under-19 pacer, Isai Thorne top scored with a 28-ball 69 which was highlighted by eight sixes and five fours at the Queen’s College Ground. He was supported by Rashad Gafoor who made 47 from 48 balls and Romeo Deonarain with 45 form 80 balls. Reyaz Latif picked up 4-54 while Stephon Sankar bagged 3-34.
