Paul DeNobrega warmed up nicely for this weekend’s Independence Three-Stage Road race with a victory in the Team Alanis’ sponsored event yesterday staged around the outer circuit of the National Park
The Team Evolution standout, clocked 1:53.15 for the 20-lap Memorial fixture which was staged in honour of former junior rider, Jason Choowenam.
DeNobrega led breakaway mates, Walter Grant-Stuart and Deeraj Garbarran across the line in a three-man sprint finish after they broke away from the peloton with eight laps to go.
