The Linden Fund US and the Lions Club with support from a wide cross-section of Guyanese in the US recently made a donation of various medical supplies to the tune of US$10,837 to the Linden Hospital Complex, Wismar Hospital and the Vivienne Parris Health Centre.
Seen in this photograph are US-based Guyanese doctor Keith Cummings (left), an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at St George’s University School of Medicine and an attending physician at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, (left) and others. The donation, which was made by Dr. Cummings on behalf of the donors, was handed over at the Linden Hospital Complex with several persons in attendance including Mayor Waneka Arindell, members of the Lions Clubs and Cheryl Waithe of the Linden Fund US.
