Commissioner of the Guyana Police Force Clifton Hicken (Ag), has endorsed and partnered with the fourth Magnum Independence Cup, and participating teams will now contest for the coveted ‘Commissioner of Police’ Trophy.
This is according to a release from the tournament organisers.
“Football is a bridge that will be used between the public and police to ensure the energies of youth is channeled in a positive way, hence the donation of this trophy and this partnership,” said Hicken a former president of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA).
