Demerara women opened the Guyana Cricket Board senior women’s Inter County T20 tournament with an 89-run win over the Select XI while Berbice eased to a nine-wicket win over Essequibo yesterday at the Albion Community Centre Ground, Berbice.
Demerara won the toss and opted to bat first where they posted 139 for five from their allotted overs. In reply, the Select XI were routed for 50 in 19.1 overs.
