Two men were yesterday remanded to prison after they were charged with the murder of ex-convict, Akash Pechia, who was found with severe chop injuries about his body in an empty lot at Number 55 Village, Corentyne last week Tuesday.
Derrick Sugrim, 21, a labourer and Radesh Tharman also known as “Bangalee”, 20, also a labourer, both of Number 55 Village, Corentyne, were yesterday jointly charged with murder committed on Pechia at Number 55 Village, Corentyne on May, 17.
