Sandip Waste Management Services has partially resumed the collection of garbage in the city with the return to service of one of its trucks.
The other trucks are yet to resume work as the company tries to resolve the issues it is facing with its vehicles.
A Sandip spokesperson told Stabroek News on Monday that due to the recent rainfall, the Lusignan landfill site was in a deplorable condition.
