An early morning fire erupted yesterday on the ground floor of Clippers Barber and Beauty at Camp Street, Georgetown.
The fire, determined to be electrical, was contained after a quick response by the Guyana Fire Service (GFS).
The GFS confirmed that it received a call at 05:24 hrs alerting it to a fire at the three-storey building housing the business. Four fire tenders responded from the Central Fire Station, the Alberttown Fire Station and the Campbellville Fire Station.
