The Golden Jaguars got off to the perfect start in League ‘B’ of the CONCACAF Nations League, defeating Montserrat 2-1 yesterday at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Guyana starting XI comprised Quillan Roberts, Quincy Adams, Matthews Briggs, Jalen Jones, Nathan Moriah-Welsh, Samuel Cox, Daniel Wilson, Omari Glasgow, Neil Danns, Terrell Ondaan, and Trayon Bobb.
A second-half double from Glasgow in the space of 10 minutes, ensured Guyana secured the vital three points. Glasgow found the back of the net in the 61st and 71st minute respectively. For Montserrat, Adrian Clifton scored in the 21st minute.
