In what appears to be an inside job, eight businessmen were yesterday robbed of millions by four gunmen at a birthday party at LBI.
A Guyana Police Force (GPF) statement said that the robbery occurred at 1.30 am yesterday at Fourth Street, La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Three suspects have been arrested thus far.
The victims were robbed of 5 cellphones, 2 laptops, 3 gold rings, and 3 gold chains worth millions, in addition to one black bag and an undisclosed amount of cash.
