AAG postpones senior national c/ships

Bragging rights, medals, cash incentives and a chance to represent Guyana at the World Championships will all be up for grabs during the flagship national senior championships which will now be staged from June 24-26.

The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) flagship national senior championships which were scheduled to be held this weekend has been postponed to June 24-26.

The nation’s premier athletes will have to wait a bit longer to compete in the annual calendar event due to the unavailability of the National Track and Field Centre to the association this weekend.

The hosting of the CONCACAF Nations League matches are currently underway at the facility in Leonora.
