The Guyana Chess Federation yesterday stated that promising junior player Ethan Lee will replace national men’s champion Wendell Meusa on the team to compete at next month’s Chess Olympiad in India.
The 44th Fide, Chess Olympiad will be held in Chennai, India from July 28 – August 8th.
According to the GCF, Candidate Master, Meusa, who recently triumphed at the national championships, has advised them that he was withdrawing from the team.
