The affiliate associations/federations of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) will today be tasked with deciding whether or not changes will be made to its constitution based on the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The IOC, the parent body of the GOA has made recommendations to ratify its constitution some of which includes an age limit cap of 70 to its office bearers along with term limits.

Following the all-important Special General Meeting which starts at 17:30hrs at Olympic House, member affiliates will determine in large part the direction sports will undertake for the next four years and beyond.
