A Corentyne woman and her husband are now nursing injuries after their neighbour launched an attack on them after they offered assistance to the attacker’s abused wife.
Tilawti Singh, also known as ‘Angela’, 44, a livestock farmer, of Lot 437 Block Five Ankerville, Port Mourant, sustained five chop injuries: two on her left arm, two on her hip, and one on her right leg.
Her husband sustained a chop injury on his hand when he attempted to rescue her from the perpetrator.
