The inaugural Women’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will feature three teams with Stafanie Taylor captaining Guyana Amazon Warriors and six local players featuring across the teams. This is according to a release from ‘the biggest party in sport which also listed Hayley Matthews as skipper of the Barbados Royals and Deandra Dottin as leader of Trinbago Knight Riders.
Locals, Shemaine Campbelle, Kaysia Schultz, Cherry-Ann Fraser and Shabika Gajnabi will turn out for Warriors while Mandy Mangru will be with the Royals and Sheneta Grimmond with the Knight Riders.
