National player Shemar Britton was the winner of the first, of two sets of trial matches organised by the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA).
The matches were played at the National Gymnasium Saturday night.
Southpaw Britton played unbeaten in the five-person round-robin men’s trials while Thuraia Thomas defeated Jasmine Billingy to win the female trials.
