The police yesterday arrested three person on the West Demerara over ganja and an attempt to pervert the course of justice.
In a statement last night, the police said that around 1 pm yesterday, acting on information received, ranks headed by a cadet officer went to the Wales Public Road, West Bank Demerara (WBD), where they observed Nicholas Osborne sitting on a bicycle in the vicinity of the Wales Police Station.
As the ranks continued to observe, the statement said that they saw motor car PAB 228 which was at the time being driven by Davanand Rambarran pull up alongside Osborne. He handed Osborne a black bulky plastic bag and then drove off.
