IsDB team here to appraise proposed US$120M project to pave Linden-Soesdyke highway

A team from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is currently in Guyana on an appraisal mission for a US$120 million loan that government is seeking to pave the Linden-Soesdyke Highway, Finance Minister Dr Ashni Singh announced on Friday.

Addressing a gathering at the contract signing and sod turning for the construction of the East Coast-East Bank Demerara road bypass yesterday, Singh said the team was holding discussions with the government.
