Two men arrested after what police said was a drug deal at Wales, West Bank Demerara, were yesterday each released on $300,000 bail after they denied a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Davanand Rambarran, 32, of Lot 21 Vriesland, West Bank Demerara, and Nicolas Osborne appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Wales Magistrate’s Court.
The charge against them stated that on June 21, at Wales, West Bank Demerara, they had in their possession 481 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
