President speaks at Suriname oil conference

President Irfaan Ali yesterday spoke at the Suriname Energy Oil and Gas Summit in Paramaribo. According to a release from the Office of the President, Ali said that the region has the potential to not only become energy secure but to become an energy player on the global stage. The President also visited the oil and gas exhibition, where he interacted with representatives from a number of companies.
