Former West Indies women’s team captain, Merissa Aguilleira is excited about the inaugural women’s Caribbean Premier League this season.
In an exclusive interview with this publication in Guyana during the Women’s Regional Super50, Aguilleira stated, “I am really excited about the [women’s] CPL.
“I think it is a really good initiative. When you look around the world you see the countries are making sure that they implement these kinds of initiatives in order to get women’s cricket forward so knowing that it is here, in the Caribbean I am really excited about it.”
