Sergeant Dameion McLennon, one of two cops to be charged with obstructing the course of justice in the Quindon Bacchus case (See story on page three) is on the recently announced police promotions list.
This left the police scrambling last night to explain how his name came to be on the list.
In a statement, the police force said that it is aware that there exists on social media certain insinuations about the promotion of Sergeant 20944 D. Mc Lennon.
