Georgetown Mayor Ubraj Narine yesterday told Stabroek News that Town Clerk Candace Nelson was refusing to sign a contract for hART Public Affairs, a company approved by the Mayor and City Council to handle its public relations.
He said that the Town Clerk, however, is asking the council to approve a contract for CNS Disposal Services, which handles garbage disposal in and around Georgetown.
