Tigers, Windies square off in first ODI

Nicholas Pooran has led West Indies’ batting in the series.

All roads lead to the Providence National Stadium today as the West Indies takes on Bangladesh in the first of three One Day Internationals (ODI).

The hosts, West Indies, have already won the Test and T20I series and will be eager to begin the ODI series with a win.

Although there will be an eye on the weather, Providence has a reputation of being arguably the fastest drying facility in the region and has lived up to that billing over the last few matches where rain threatened.
