High Commissioner of India to Guyana His Excellency, Dr. K. J. Srinivasa on Monday urged Guyana’s delegation to this year’s FIDE Chess Olympiad in India to do the country proud.
“Make your nation proud,” he exhorted the 10 member Guyana team during a visit by the team to the Embassy to obtain their travel visas.
Srinivasa commended the players for their dedication to the sport and gave them advice and encouragement for their trip to Chennai, India where this year’s event will be held.
