City chamber discusses local content law, registry with AG

The Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall, has assured the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) that the government is sensitive to the legal needs of the commercial sector and highlighted several steps already taken in that direction

In a release on Wednesday, the Attorney General’s Chambers stated that Nandlall met on Tuesday with members of the GCCI where several legal issues for discussion relevant to the commercial sector were raised. Out of these discussions, he assured the Chamber that the government is committed to “the creation of a modern and flexible legal infrastructure to regulate and cater for the needs of a modern and expanding commercial Guyana.”
