Chef-de-Mission Pilgrim, Mc Koy arrive in England for Commonwealth Games

 Dr. Karen Pilgrim, the Chef de Mission of Team Guyana’s delegation to the Commonwealth Games along with General Team Manager, Nalini McKoy, arrived in Birmingham, England on Thursday ahead of yesterday’s all important Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM) for the event which kicks off next Thursday.

According to Dr. Pilgrim, the DRM encompassed all final arrangements for the local delegation.

“We went through the names of the athletes and the events that they are doing and room allotments at the three Games Villages. Also the names of the officials just to make sure that they were all in place and assigned to the right spots.”
